
The Matchmakers Alliance is a not-for-profit industry organization where matchmakers and dating professionals come together to learn from one another, share ideas, collaborate, and support one another to have successful businesses and best serve clients.
As members of the Matchmakers Alliance, we are committed to fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Members shall not publicly disparage or criticize other members or their businesses and refrain from casting aspersion or criticism of our respective business practices, fees and messaging. As an alliance, we uphold mutual respect and professionalism, respect that there are various successful approaches and endeavor to ensuring a positive and constructive space for all.
Our group communicates through our Facebook and WhatsApp groups. Our Facebook group is closed, secret, and by invitation only. The following TERMS OF USE must be followed to participate in this group. Members who do not follow our terms of service will be removed. Thank you for participating responsibly. Who can join this group?
You must be an ACTIVE matchmaker or dating professional to be in this group. If your job/status should change, please let us know so we can remove you.
Please DO:
1) share business-related ideas
2) ask business-related questions
3) reply to posts
4) find matches for your clients
5) make referrals
6) share interesting or funny articles that relate to our industry
You may NOT:
1) post abusive, disparaging or unkind posts or comments
2) post anyone's information or photos without their permission
3) promote your products or your business. In other words, you may NOT use this site for monetary gain or to grow your mailing list
4) share the information posted inside this group outside of this group. If someone is searching for a match and posts information about a client/friend, etc., you MUST ask the posting matchmaker's PERMISSION before sharing that person's information.
For Match Recruitment:
When you post photos/info to find a match for your client you must:
1) state whether or not the person you are searching for is a client
2) state if you are offering a referral fee (and how much that is)
3) have permission to post their information/photos
4) Include their specific details and match criteria (age, match age-range, ethnicity/religion, ethnicities/religions open to, do they want kids, etc.)
5) share how someone should contact you to send potential matches

Employers are required to notify the Matchmakers Alliance if their Employees/Team Members leave so that they can be removed from the Matchmakers Alliance. Employees/Team Members should notify the Matchmakers Alliance if they have left their employer.
